Exercise is very much needed to keep the dog healthy. If you want to keep your dog chained into the backward, your dog will not grow happily. That is whyit is essential to use a dog fencing system to provide secured space where dogs can move and play as well as safe from traffic and pedestrians.
There are two main types of dog fence available:
- Visible or Wired Dog Fence
• Invisible or Wireless dog fence
Visible do fence:
Erecting a visible, or ancient dog fence is that the most simple means for you to contain your dog. Using a snow fence is the cheapest and quickest way to make a dog fencing system. As the holes of snow fence are very small, the dog cannot escape or go out from the system. If you reside in a very colder climate, however, you’ll recognize that snow fencing is unattractive. Additionally, it will be simply bent out of shape, thus it’ll need periodic maintenance. However, if you’re not troubled by the aesthetics, it’ll provide you with a good fence in a very pinch.
Chain link or Picket fence another option for a dog lover. These are more permanent dog fence and act as effective dog fence. It has a very solid contraction so it lasts longer than cheaper alternatives. If you intend to use a picket fence, however, it’s vital to think about the size of your dog in respect to the spaces between the pickets in your dog fence. Not amazingly, as these fences are more engaging and permanent than snow fences, using them as a dog fence are more costly.
A common drawback with all the visible dog fences listed above is that albeit they will keep your dog on your property, they may not stop pedestrians from harassing your dog from the opposite side of the fence. Whereas, your dog can seemingly be unable to suit its head through a chain link.
Hidden dog fence:
If you do not like visible dog fencing system either for cost or aesthetics, Hidden dog fence can be your better alternatives. There are two types of hidden dog fence available such as wireless and underground dog fence.
In case of wireless dog fence, a transmitter is placed in a middle area where I want to make an invisible boundary. A signal is sent by the transmitter to surrounding area that sets out the perimeter of your property. Dogs wear a receiver collar which beeps when the dog reaches the property. If the dog ignored the signal and try to pass the property, a mild electrical shock is applied simultaneously. Thus the dog learns not to pass boundary line.
There are several advantages of hidden dog fence over visible dog fence. It is very simple to install and operate. It does not cost more money and time building a fence. It is portable, that means you do not need to concerned about zoning requirements.
The disadvantage is if the dog ignored the shock and pass the area there is nothing to stop them leaving the property.
